Description
IELTS and TOEFL validate your English level, whatever it is, at the time you take the test. The validity period of the result obtained is only two years.
IELTS and TOEFL level tests are often requested as part of a job search, visa application or admission to an English-speaking university / college.
IELTS or TOEFL?
IELTS is commonly used and required in the UK and Commonwealth countries while TOEFL is usually required by universities in the United States.
IELTS and TOEFL assess four skills: Reading – Listening – Writing – Speaking. The evaluation of the oral expression is carried out in front of an examiner for the IELTS while for the TOEFL, it takes place by computer.
IELTS is graded from 1 to 9, spread over a grid of nine levels in correspondence with the grid of the Common European Framework of Reference, from A2 to C2. The TOEFL is scored out of 120 points (4 modules of 30 points).
How to prepare for it?
Start by testing your starting level of English. You can do this for free at https://www.cambridgeenglish.org/en/test-your-english/general-english/. In 10 minutes, you will have a relatively precise idea of your level.
Then set a goal and start studying as soon as possible. You can do it on your own, but be aware that learning a language alone actually requires a lot of energy and personal investment.
If you want to progress quickly, sustainably and efficiently in order to reach your goal and get the best possible score, the FlexPlus English course offered by VOXEA is for you.
Our team will then be at your disposal for further information concerning the course, price, location and dates of the chosen test.
